The Maltese has a very docile, intelligent, cheerful but sometimes touchy character. They have a real adoration for their master and can become the ideal companion for the whole family. Courageous, they don't hesitate to sound the alarm in the event of danger, and have a very long, silky, glossy, dense coat that falls to the ground. As for the color of its coat, it can only be pure white.
