History, origin & features
The Skye Terrier is best known as a pet, but it's an exclusive dog that obeys and loves only its master, almost to a fault. It has a strong character and remains very wary of strangers, but is not naturally aggressive. Skye Terriers are small dogs, twice as long as they are tall. Powerful and muscular, they have erect ears. Long hair covers the entire body and head, but does not impede movement. The coat varies in shades of black, gray, fawn and cream, all with black tips.
