Shikoku

History, origin & features

The Shikoku is originally a hunting dog from Japan's Kochi prefecture. It's a medium-sized breed, efficient at catching big game. Its coat is a soft blend of white, gray, sandy and black. It's known for being intelligent but stubborn, so you'll need time to train it well. He's an ideal companion for children, as he's cuddly and playful, enjoys walks and is very loyal and affectionate. He gets on well with other pets and rarely barks.
