Schipperke

History, origin & features

The Schipperke is a hardy breed with a tender heart. They are very sociable, and although they are mainly used as watchdogs, they make excellent family companions and are very protective of children. He's a little black rascal with a thick, half-long coat that forms a mane around his neck and thighs. His physique is heavy and robust, and he exudes vigor. In short, he's a miniature Belgian Shepherd without a tail.
