Saint Hubert

History, origin & features

The Saint Hubert is a breed that originated in Great Britain and has been recognized since the 1950s. It is used as a police dog to help solve investigations or find missing persons. An amusing anecdote: his nose is so reliable that evidence provided by him is considered evidence in court. His primary skill is being a field dog, but he is also a very good companion dog. He is incomparably gentle with his master and children. The Saint Hubert is an incredibly imposing, heavy and powerful dog. It has highly developed muscles and bones. His gait is slow, but he exudes grandeur and nobility. His coat is short, rather hard but silky. His lips and skin are pendulous and deeply wrinkled. His color is predominantly solid reddish black.
