Siberian Husky

History, origin & features

Originally from Siberia, the Husky is an extremely ancient breed of dog. It was first bred by the Eskimo tribe of Choukchis to pull their sleds in winter, but also to hunt and entertain their children.

But it was in the United States, and in particular at Eva Seeley, that the first breeding was established. The Siberian Husky is a gentle, jovial animal with a light, lively gait. Despite its wolf-dog appearance, it shows no signs of aggression towards humans, is totally harmless and makes an ideal companion for playful, walk-loving children and adults.

Of course, it's the ideal companion for dog sports activities such as mushing, canicross, cani-VTT and hiking. But it remains a predator, with a strong hunting instinct. The Husky is a Primitive dog, which is not apprehended in the same way as a Shepherd dog. The Siberian Husky is a gentle, jovial animal with a light, lively gait.
