Pont-Audemer Spaniel
Country: France Life expectancy: 15 years old Height: 52 to 58 cm Weight: 20 kg
History, origin & features
The Pont-Audemer Norman Spaniel is one of France's oldest and rarest breeds of spaniel. These sociable dogs get on well with children and other animals. However, they need athletic masters with whom they can let off steam. They are distinguished by their stocky, muscular physique, long ears and, above all, their dense, curly coat, which forms a hoopoe at the top of their head. Their coat is in shades of brown and white.
