History, origin & features
The Finnish Lapphund is said to be a symbol of loyalty, and this is borne out in every way. Completely devoted to their master, their absence can be fatal. Highly intelligent, docile, lively and jovial, Finnish Lapphunds are ideal family companions, especially with children. Spitz-type dogs are medium-sized, with a fine muzzle and a robust, long, elegant body. This elegance is accentuated by their long, dense coat, which forms a beautiful mane with a wide variety of colors, with one color generally predominating.
