History, origin & features

A breed thousands of years old, the Greenland Dog has always been used by Eskimos for hunting. Greenland Dogs are courageous, self-confident, independent and tenacious animals. It's a sociable, friendly dog that isn't loyal to any one person, which makes it a poor watchdog. He has a very strong, solid physique, totally suited to pulling sledges and living in the Arctic climate. Its coat is thick and double, dense and rough, giving it a bushy appearance. His ears are straight and short, and he wears his tail curled over his back.
